What is this

The satellite map shows what a place looks like from above — buildings, trees, roads, driveways, neighbouring development. An orthophoto is a geographically corrected aerial image, so it can sit under other data layers without offset.

What sets our map apart from an ordinary satellite map: we put the cadastre boundaries on top. So you see at once where one property ends and the next begins, whether a building actually stands on its own plot, and how much land belongs to the house.

How recent is the imagery?

The aerial imagery is updated periodically, so very new buildings may not yet be visible in it. The cadastre and construction data on the map is more current — worth checking together with the image.

Can I see cadastre boundaries on the satellite image?

Yes, that is precisely this map's main advantage. The boundaries appear as you zoom in and are visible over the aerial image.

Is this the same as an orthophoto?

Practically yes. An orthophoto is a geometrically corrected aerial image with terrain and lens distortions removed, so it can be aligned precisely with cadastre data.
